Read This Before Buying a New Coffee Grinder

Coffee grinders come in a number of makes and models, and each has a different set of capabilities. When selecting a new coffee grinder for your home, it is important to determine what kind of coffee you need it for and what your budget is.

If you don’t have a huge budget, you may consider purchasing a blade grinder. They are cheap (usually around $30) and can grind up coffee in a pinch. Don’t expect super consistent coffee grinds however, 

The next step up would be a burr grinder. These grinders are far better equipped to grind for espresso, and do a far better job generating a cup of coffee. But as they are higher quality, they also feature a higher price tag.
