Getting fangirl all over your laptop screen, that's pretty terrible too.
Which is why I'm classifying this as a fascinating insight into the phenomenon of the celebrity vs. the everyday, as seen through a web 2.0 lens, and the use and impact of social technology in intra-professional communication. So there.

i dont know i have mixed feelings about name dropping, i mean if its done in a pretty obvious way that did not warrant the person bringing up the other person's name, no connection whatsoever, then its pathetic and shallow, but if its in the course of conversation and might actually add value or help someone out to mention the person's name then, isnt that ok?
